Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: July 20, 2026  |  Last Updated: July 20, 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of www.northlineinspection.com and all pages, forms, content, and features made available through it (collectively, the "Site"). The Site is operated by Northline Inspection Co. ("Northline," "we," "us," or "our").

Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to comply with these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

These Terms apply to use of the Site only. They do not replace or modify any project proposal or signed contract for Northline services.

1. Website Purpose

The Site provides general information about Northline, commercial property inspections, assessments, due diligence support, reporting, and related services. It also allows visitors to contact Northline and request information or a project quote.

Site content is general in nature and is not a complete description of the scope, methods, standards, exclusions, limitations, findings, or deliverables that may apply to a specific property or project.

2. No Client Relationship or Authorization of Work

Visiting the Site, submitting a form, requesting a quote, providing project information, or receiving a preliminary response from Northline does not create a client relationship, schedule an inspection, authorize work, obligate Northline to accept a project, or create a duty to inspect or report on any property.

Northline is engaged for a project only after the applicable project proposal has been accepted by the client and a contract has been signed by the authorized parties, together with satisfaction of any other stated conditions for commencement of work.

3. Project Proposals and Signed Contracts Control

All project-specific terms are governed exclusively by the applicable project proposal accepted by the client and the signed contract. Those documents may address the scope of services, exclusions, standards, property access, client responsibilities, fees, deposits, payment timing, scheduling, cancellations or rescheduling, deliverables, report use and reliance, intellectual property, limitations of liability, dispute procedures, and other project requirements.

Any refund terms, if any, are agreed only within the applicable project proposal accepted by the client and the signed contract.

If the Site or these Terms conflict with an accepted project proposal or signed contract, the accepted project proposal and signed contract control with respect to that project.

4. Quote Requests, Scheduling, and Availability

A quote request is an invitation for Northline to review a potential project. Unless expressly identified as a formal project proposal, information provided through the Site or in a preliminary communication is not a binding offer, guaranteed price, confirmed scope, or reservation of a date or time.

Project availability, pricing, scope, and delivery timing depend on factors that may include property type, size, location, access, occupancy, requested services, records provided, client requirements, and scheduling conditions. Northline may request additional information, revise a preliminary estimate, or decline a project before a proposal is accepted and a contract is signed.

5. Accuracy of Information You Provide

You agree to provide information that is accurate, current, and complete to the best of your knowledge. This may include the property address, building type and size, occupancy, requested services, deadlines, known concerns, access conditions, and contact information for authorized project participants.

Northline may rely on information provided by you or by persons you authorize. Inaccurate, incomplete, or delayed information may affect pricing, scheduling, scope, access, or deliverables and may require an updated proposal or contract.

6. General Information; No Property-Specific Advice

Nothing on the Site is an inspection finding, property condition report, engineering opinion, architectural opinion, appraisal, survey, code-compliance determination, environmental conclusion, legal advice, tax advice, financial advice, insurance advice, or substitute for services performed for a specific property under an accepted project proposal and signed contract.

Building conditions, laws, codes, standards, market practices, and project requirements can change. You should not make a purchase, lease, financing, repair, safety, compliance, or other property decision solely on the basis of general Site content.

7. Examples, Photographs, and Project Descriptions

Photographs, sample observations, articles, frequently asked questions, project descriptions, and other examples on the Site are provided for illustration and education. They may be edited, summarized, or deidentified and do not represent every condition that may exist at a property.

Past projects and examples do not guarantee that another project will have the same scope, findings, timing, cost, or outcome. Rights to use or rely on any actual project report or deliverable are governed by the applicable accepted proposal and signed contract.

8. User Submissions and Communications

When you submit information, files, photographs, records, or other materials through the Site or by email, you represent that you are authorized to provide them and that doing so does not violate the rights of another person or any applicable law or agreement.

You authorize Northline to use submitted materials as reasonably necessary to review your inquiry, prepare a proposal, communicate with authorized participants, administer a project, maintain business records, and otherwise operate our business. Personal information is handled as described in Northline's Privacy Policy.

Do not submit Social Security numbers, full financial-account numbers, medical information, passwords, trade secrets, or other highly sensitive or regulated information unless Northline specifically requests it through an appropriate method and it is necessary for the project.

9. Acceptable Use

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Use the Site in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of another person.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, an account, a server, or data.

  • Introduce malware, harmful code, automated attacks, or other disruptive technology.

  • Interfere with the operation, security, availability, or performance of the Site.

  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, authority, or affiliation.

  • Use automated tools to scrape, copy, harvest, or index Site content in a manner that imposes an unreasonable burden or is intended for unauthorized commercial use.

  • Remove copyright, trademark, attribution, or other proprietary notices from Site content.

Northline may restrict or block access to the Site when reasonably necessary to protect the Site, Northline, its clients, or others.

10. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the Site and its text, graphics, photographs, logos, layout, design, downloadable materials, and other content are owned by or licensed to Northline and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Northline grants you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to view and use the Site for lawful personal or internal business purposes. You may not reproduce, publish, distribute, modify, sell, license, frame, mirror, or commercially exploit Site content without Northline's prior written permission, except as allowed by law.

Ownership, licensing, permitted use, and reliance rights for inspection reports and other project deliverables are governed by the applicable accepted project proposal and signed contract.

11. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Site may link to or use third-party websites, maps, forms, payment tools, scheduling tools, embedded content, or other services. Northline does not control those third parties and is not responsible for their availability, accessibility, security, accuracy, content, or privacy practices.

A third-party link or feature does not necessarily constitute an endorsement. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that provider's terms and policies.

12. Privacy

Northline's collection, use, and disclosure of personal information through the Site are described in our Privacy Policy available on www.northlineinspection.com.

13. Accessibility

Northline is committed to improving the accessibility and usability of the Site. Information about accessibility assistance and how to report a barrier is provided in Northline's Accessibility Statement.

14. Site Availability and Security

Northline may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We do not guarantee that the Site will be continuously available, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components. You are responsible for using reasonable security precautions when accessing the Site or transmitting information online.

15. Disclaimer of Website Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site and its general content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Northline disclaims warranties concerning the Site, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and noninfringement.

This section applies to the Site and does not modify any express obligation stated in an accepted project proposal or signed contract.

16. Limitation of Liability for Website Use

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Northline and its owners, employees, contractors, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential losses arising solely from access to, use of, inability to use, or reliance on the Site or general Site content.

Northline is not responsible for a property, business, financial, legal, safety, compliance, or other decision made solely in reliance on general Site content. Any liability arising from project services or deliverables is governed by the applicable accepted project proposal and signed contract. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

17. Governing Law

These Terms and your use of the Site are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. A project proposal or signed contract may contain separate governing-law or dispute provisions that control for that project.

18. Changes to the Site or These Terms

Northline may update the Site and these Terms periodically. The revised Terms will be posted on the Site with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after revised Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of those revisions to the extent permitted by applicable law.

19. Severability and No Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law. Northline's failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision or any other right.
